Travel Review of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai - Anam

Loved It! Burj Khalifa, Dubai Reviewed 28.08.2020

My mum and I called a cab and went from our hotel to the tallest building in the world! It was our second last day in Dubai before we left for Sydney, Australia back home. We left the taxi at around 1pm and it was already boiling hot. Seeing as it was our 2nd last day in Dubai we wanted to explore a bit more by visiting this famous building and later on we had plans to go to one of the biggest malls there to shop a bit. We purchased our tickets which were very pricey but in the end it was worth it. There were restaurants on some levels and otherwise there were just significant items, fountains.

The most worthwhile thing I reckon the money was worth for was the view. We got up to the highest level that was open to the public, the 163rd floor. The view was immaculate. While it was still day time we decided to wait until the sunset came out and in my opinion that was the best sunset I’ve ever experienced. The buildings all around were visible and the sunset was impeccable. On the horizon there were soft hues of pink, orange and a deep red. All of those colours mixed to create one memorable sunset in Dubai. After watching the sunset we decided to go have a little something to eat before going shopping. By far one of the most memorable experiences I have had.
